Buncombe County Courthouse: Map, Directions and Information
The Buncombe County Courthouse is located in the Court Plaza. Court Plaza is accessible from College Street, which runs through the heart of downtown Asheville. Immediately east of Pack Square, exit at Merrimon/Broadway or Charlotte Street for access from I-240, and from Biltmore Avenue from I-40.
Courthouse Parking Information:
Currently, downtown Asheville is undergoing a facelift and parking is sometimes a nightmare. With that said, street parking is available for the lucky and public parking facilities are available in a 3 to 6 block area. The Renaissance Hotel has parking available for a fee some of the time, depending on the events the hotel has scheduled. A parking garage across from the courthouse is being constructed, but is not currently available for use.
